Education

Undergraduate Studies: Graduated from the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, module Molecular Biology and Physiology (2013-2017).

Master’s Studies: Completed a Master’s program at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, with a thesis titled: “Effect of vitamin B complex on expression of L type of voltage-dependent calcium channels during regeneration of rat peripheral nerve after injury.”

Ph.D. Studies: Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, Biology field, Immunology module (2018-).

Research field

Investigating the innate immune response to Trichinella spiralis infection, characterizing the antigen ES L1 of T. spiralis and analyzing its immunomodulatory properties, with a particular focus on its effects on dendritic cells, to assess its potential therapeutic use. The analysis of the ES L1 antigen involves isolating and characterizing extracellular vesicles from T. spiralis.

Professional engagement
