The goal of the Institute INEP is to make knowledge, expertise and technologies gained through more than 60 years of dedicated research and commercial activities more accessible to the society. To do so INEP actively engages with collaborators from research and academic institutions, partners from industry and civil sector for creation of impactful outcomes. Its Technology Transfer Body plays an active role in supporting researchers through all phases of development of technologies and innovations on their way to the market. One of our primary focuses is identifying the results of the research that delve into understanding the key processes of human and animal health, with a potential to be commercialized. Technology Transfer Body at INEP is dedicated to finding the most suitable pathways for our innovations to live beyond the laboratory. We strive to ensure that knowledge and breakthroughs generated at our Institute contribute to a healthier and more secure society.
Activities
Activities of INEP’s Technology Transfer Body assume:
- Proof of concept programs as well as supporting programs for raising the level of technological readiness of inventions
- Evaluation of research results and valorization of implemented technologies
- Procedures for IP protection and managing IP portfolio (patents, know-how, etc.)
- Creating and fostering network of collaborators (institutions, companies, etc.)
- Drafting and negotiating of collaborative agreements (NDA, MTA, RCA, licensing)
- Consulting on KTT processes

When Science Becomes a Solution
At the Institute for the Application of Nuclear Energy INEP, the Technology Transfer Body plays a key role in connecting scientific research with the needs of industry, healthcare, and society at large. Our mission is to bring laboratory innovations to life by securing patent protection, enabling commercialization, and developing strategic partnerships.
A patented method for the simultaneous isolation and purification of transferrin and immunoglobulin G from serum stands as a strong example of successful collaboration between researchers and the Technology Transfer Team.
With support from the SAIGE project, this innovation has moved beyond scientific achievement, laying the foundation for broader application in immunology, hematology, and diagnostic biochemistry.
If you are looking for innovative solutions or wish to co-develop new technologies with INEP, feel free to get in touch. 📩
